"Upstairs window. There's no roof access, but even if there were it's to exposed. Gonna go lights out and use my NV scope so I can't be seen."

Blue nods again. "Alright, while we're holed up here we'll go in shifts. Unless Red needs me for something specific." She'd look over to her comrades. "What's going to be the game plan for us Red? We focusing on assisting them or continuing recon?"

"Excuse me, but I don't suppose it'd be convenient for you to drop the monikers?" Celess asked. "It is slightly confusing, because our Bounty Hunter also goes by 'Red'."

Red shrugs. "Phoenix, then. That's all you get for now. Maybe if we actually stick together long enough. Blast, go search the kitchen. See what supplies are available. We'll stick around for now to do some planning. Tell me where your family is then." She looks over to Frank. Frank then explains his situation, and what he had told the survivors. Phoenix nods, then gestures to her team. "We'll be in the garage. We need to discuss a few things."

Eliza turns and moves to head upstairs and set up.

Blue nods and reaches up to her throat, apparently hitting a hidden communication device. "Tank, meet in the garage. We're forming up." She then follows Phoenix and the others.

The large man known as Tank eventually comes back through the room, filling it with his presence until he gets to the garage.

Eliza heads upstairs to look for an available window with a view of the street.

. "Yeah, Ah still need 'em, thanks Frank. This lil fiasco slowed us down a bit, but Ah'm not givin' up. Y'all let us crash here a bit, the least Ah can do is try an' save Megan and Abigail. Besides, Ah gave mah word. Before Ah go, though, are there any medical issues we need ta know about? Now's the time ta say somethin' so me and Barry heah can take the proper measures. Ah'll meet up with these military sorts in the garage. Then Barry and Ah will head out. When Ah make a promise, Ah keep it. Although, Ah think this time, Ah'm goin' with ya. Just ta make sure there ain't any more surprises."

Red had let out a sigh of relief. As he and the others had promised, no shots were fired, and no harm was done.

Barry watched the whole scene unfold silently.

One thing you learned managing a repair shop was to let the customer run through their own list of concerns and opinions first before you supplied your own. Sometimes you learned more about what was wrong than just rooting about in the gears yourself.

The jury was still out on who these paramilitary people were, or really their reasons for being here. He would be very happy if they weren't here to go all "Half Life" on the witnesses. He was just starting to get an idea of where he belonged with the band of strangers he started out with. They were long distance and he was there as support and of course, Melee combat.

He cautiously peeked out the side of one of the front windows of the house and looked over the street for the creatures he mentally referred to as 'Shamblers'. Even the quicker ones had a certain, unevenness to their gait. That could complicate things later on. A wounded person all battered and bloody could quickly become a corpse because of the resemblance to a Shambler to anyone who was armed.

He thought about good fallback positions in the city, provided they couldn't get to his house. His home could be considered a fortress against most crises. Brick walls and hurricane shutters can go a long way during many different crises, although the walking dead was definitely one he never considered. He thought about his front porch and the option of removing the front stairs leading up to it to make things more difficult on the shamblers... provided they were too dumb to climb.


He looked back at Red and smiled.

"We all set now?"

The team of soldiers comes back out of the garage. Tank and Blast sat off to the side, chatting between themselves. Lacy strolls around the room, looking around with her weapon slung across her back. Phoenix walks over to Celess and the others. "We're going to leave. You lot seem to be doing just fine on your own."

Red gave a nod over to Barry. "We're ready ta roll out once we get the walkie talkies, and me and Frank agree on what frequency we all will be usin'. How're ya sittin' fer ammo?"

"All right... Good luck with whatever-it-is you're doing. Though... If you're here about the outbreak... Is this an isolated incident?" Celess asked. "And... Do you think any witnesses will be eliminated once the threat has been eradicated?"

Phoenix shakes her head. "You just need to worry about your survival. That's all." Meanwhile Lacy walks around the room, occasionally getting close to each member of the group, or their bags. Blast and Tank stand off to the corner, telling jokes to each other.

Blue steps over to Phoenix and nods. "I'd suggest finding a better position when you're done here and salvaging enough supplies to wait this out. There really isn't any way to tell what's going on outside of town just yet. Could be any one of a number of people out there much more trigger happy."

Celess looks at Lacy, as she gets close to her bags.

"Don't touch that," Celess said sternly. "I know where everything is in there, and I don't need anything added or taken away."

Lacy raises her hands defensively. "Not touching anything, relax."

Eliza's found a comfortable window upstairs, and is happily sitting down, rifle aimed at the window.

Red stepped in with Frank, and gave a nod to the soldiers. "Y'all be careful out there. We did run inta some really triggerhappy sorts en route. Hopefully, if 'r when we see each other, it won't be with guns drawn."

"We did not,exactly, run into them. We more, or less, heard them. May have been you lot, for all we know," Celess observed casually. "In the meantime we're going to try a rescue, and reinforce this place for Frank and his family. I honestly do not believe it would be safe for him, his wife, and his daughter to travel with us."

Red began to brief Frank and Barrie on communicating. "Fer the most part, we're gonna stay silent. If there's a development, we'll break silence, and let ya know. Just don't be surprised if it takes us a while ta get in touch with ya. What frequency do y'all want us ta use ta get back to ya?"

As soon as Phoenix and her crew leave, Celess would check those people and bags that "Lacy" got close to, searching for anything out of place.

Phoenix and her group of soldiers left without another word, and as far as Celess could tell, nothing was out of place on anyone or anything. Frank discusses the plans with Red and Barrie. Eliza, being upstairs and watching the street, sees a flash of movement from the soldiers before they are gone. The rest of the roads were clear, nothing moved but the trees from the wind.

"We'd best get goin' too, Barry. We've lost a lot of time already."
