    Name: Adrian Jameson D'Morgan

Occupation: Varies (in Mass Effect, former Alliance soldier turned Space Pirate. In other concepts, student/Mad scientist)

Age: Generally around 16-24 depending on campaign.

    Height: 6'0

    Weight: Around 190 lbs

Appearance: Adrian typically wears a white lab coat on him at all times. A pair of dark safety goggles is kept in an inner pocket at all times. When not in the lab, he wears jeans and a button-down shirt. His black hair is almost perpetually wild in spite of all efforts to brush it. In the lab, he dresses in whatever the experiment of the day calls for.

The lab coat usually has weights sewn into the sleeves (usually rocks or some other item that won't set off any metal detectors), and at the corners of the outfit (the better to snare an opponent with).

Attack style: Lots of Tesla-like inventions (he considers Edison a hack), along with some melee/brawl skill that might surprise some opponents who think he's just another pasty bookworm.

    Brief Bio:

All too often, superheroes create their own problems.

They think a great deal about stopping the villain du jour, and don't really mind doing a lot of blasting, slashing, burning, what-have-you, but they never think of the consequences of errant attacks.

It was supposed to be a simple dinner date. Adrian D'Morgan had just gotten out of his internship early and went to take his girlfriend Isabelle to a nice dinner and a movie. He had no idea of the battle raging over the skies, nor of the huge collateral damage being inflicted. It had happened while they were in the theater. The roof had collapsed, and though Adrian escaped, Isabelle hadn't. He kept fighting for her, doing all he could to rescue her and those around her.

As he was doing so, he saw the "hero" and villain duking it out in that theater. They only kept their eyes on each other. At no point did either one attempt to aid those trapped in the inferno. They had developed a form of tunnel vision. By the time Isabelle had been pulled out of the rubble, along with several others who had fled, she had already passed out from the smoke inhalation. It wasn't long before he did.

Thankfully, he had managed, with her, to make it outside. But things had never been the same for him or her. What angered him the most was that they were allowed to continue their battle and cause even more damage As he laid in the hospital, his brain churning with scientific theories, he had read in the paper that over a hundred people had died in the resulting conflagration.

It was after a person in the nearby ICU unit died, along with several others, that Adrian made the decision that something had to change. Armed only with his mind, his body, and his skill as a mad scientist, he began to make a mental map of where all the scrapheaps were, and where he could get parts to start building weapons.

If the superheroes, after all, won't respect the right of humans to live, well, they can respect the morgue.

At the start of the chronicle, Isabelle is still in physical rehabilitation, but Adrian is out of the hospital and visiting her after school every day.

Roleplaying hints: Always keep a notepad and paper with you at all times with which to write down ideas. In grand mad scientist tradition, you tend to get inspiration from the least likely of things. At this point, you lack a lab. Perhaps you can find something no one else is looking into. Something you can keep off the books. Remember Isabelle, remember that she is still fighting for her own life.

But above all, remember why, and avoid doing collateral damage yourself. The last thing you want to do is be a hypocrite about it.

First order of business: Get a lab ready, and then some equipment. You can only do experiments in a storage locker for so long before someone notices you.
