Name: River Althea
Sex: Female
Alignment: Neutral Good
Settings
Currently has been affiliated with Mass Effect, Star Wars, Zombie Survival, Terminator, and a brief stint in Starship Troopers. In each one she is usually either currently in a military profession or has had such experience in the past. In certain settings where superhuman powers of some form exist she usually has some level of power. In Star Wars she was Force Sensitive and became a Jedi. In Mass Effect she has skill with Biotics. A recurring theme to her backstory involves her close connection to Arielle Phoenix, who may or may not have perished in a previous event in her life. There are no plans to stray this character away from Modern/Sci-Fi settings. She wasn't designed to meld with Medieval/Fantasy.

River is perhaps the most famous of my characters in terms of physical appearance, and most likely for obvious reasons. Her busty and curvaceous form draws a lot of attention. Despite how she may look, she does keep her body in top shape and has strength that her curves hide. This causes people to underestimate her and suffer the consequences later when they've been the receiving end of her punches.

Though River often is known to have blue hair when she can get away with it, her natural hair color is a dark brown. She often ties it back into a ponytail when she's going to be in a combat situation, and will let it loose when relaxing in safety. Her eyes are an intense amber color capable of an intimidating stare when she's angered.
Cons
If in the story Arielle Phoenix is dead, River usually struggles with the loss. It causes her to be distant and a bit colder towards others. The emotional pain also affects her ability to sleep, and she tends to have increased drinking habits from the nightmares. In some stories, the loss of Arielle has also resulted in the loss of other members of their squad/group, leaving River feeling responsible to avenge the deaths of her comrades. Depression and anger present a constant challenge to her moral stances as a result.
