"I have no indication that you're trying to cheat us, but no proof that you aren't. If the terms are fair, you shouldn't have any problem telling us the job first."

"And I am not allowed to divulge any information, per the contract I have with the Mister Johnson who came to me, until we have an agreement," Klubbs sighed.

"May I get the first and last name of this 'Mister Johnson' so if by some chance you are cheating us, I know who to kill first?"

Re: Shadowrun: Block War
"Are you crazy? We do not assassinate corporate contacts!" Klubbs said looking incised. "That is why they go by 'Mister Johnson'. To keep themselves anonymous. After all, a lot of the time, the jobs we are doing, they were supposed to be able to do with company resources.
"You're being hired to play pranks on Ignensys," Cheli explained.
"Cheli!" Klubbs gasped, admonishingly.
"They weren't going to take the job until we told them, Daddy," Cheli explained. "Anyway, this has the potential to be a long-running job, and one that's relatively easy, that could make us some serious money, if we play our cards right."
"Honestly, I thought Angel was putting together a professional Shadowrunner team, not a bunch of wanna-be's. Don't you know anything?" Klubbs said to Wolf.

"So it's unprofessional to want to know just what we're getting into before we take the job? Or were you referring to us wanting to kill the contact if we are betrayed? I'd say that's pretty normal." Lacy turns back to the conversation.

"Agreeing on payment before knowing the job is stupid. Being cheated, and taking your fair amount of money off the corpse of the one that cheated you, is only fair. Should it come to that, it'd only take a skilled hacker, such as myself a matter of days to track down the client, even if he is using a fake name. But, bloody murder aside, thanks to your smarter-then-you daughter, I believe I can settle with the offered money if my colleagues can."

"Which is the point of using an alias. If the corporations found out they were using sinless shadowrunners to do their dirty work, and not company resources, they would probably get killed by the company, and have all their assets seized," Klubbs said. "Most company men would probably want the runners not to survive, anyhow, and any 'crimes' be blamed on sinless punks looking for BTL money. We're expendable to the wage slaves, yet needed."

"Just tell us the job already." Sam rolls her eyes, annoyed.

Re: Shadowrun: Block War
“Ignensys is the target. It’s a company in downtown Manhattan that has been a thorn in my client’s side,” Klubbs said, handing out the floor plan of the office. He picks up his commlink and reads, “They have grievously
insulted us—my client with their latest activity. You have a week to do the job. The job is to, essentially, retaliate for their activity. They wished for you to be creative."
Cheli grabs her commlink, and sketches up an ARO with a list of things the runners could do in pretty writing:
■ Clog all the bathroom toilets.
■ Put laxatives in the snacks and water cooler.
■ Put ink in the soap dispensers.
■ TP the VP office.
■ Wire the sprinklers to activate at 10AM with some water-activated foam.
■ Feel free to add other pranks, just not brainless destruction, so keep your explosives at home.
"It would be best if you go at night," Cheli added, "because security is at a low point, then. Also, the wage-slaves shouldn't be able to see if anything is wrong, until it's too late."
"Do a good job with this, well, we could both be set," Klubbs said with a nod. "These kinds of petty rivalries lead to retaliation, after all."
Cheli chimes in with, “Do a good job, and we could hire you again on this gravy train of pranks…”

Re: Shadowrun: Block War
The Ork looked over the list and nodded slowly with a smirk.
"This is doable... Yes. Yes I can back the rest of the group up on these rather easily."
