"Oh I'm sure you could, but for now, you might want to focus on keeping the room from spinning."

"She was snoring like a git, earlier. She can deny it all she wants, but she was," the dwarf snarked, with a grin.

"It's not spinning so much as wobbling." She sits up, rubbing her forehead, "And I don't snore." Near them, one of the hooded men stands and moves to leave the bar, keeping his face hidden.

The noblewoman just shrugs, keeping to her drink while trying to watch the hooded men out of the corners of her eyes.

"Oi. I'm Nica. Don't know the sodding git, who snores when she's drunk off her arse, but she looks less than legitimate. But then I ain't so legitimate, m'self. Took me forever t' get used to not havin' a roof of solid rock over me head."

"I'm Ame." She rubs her forehead, leaning back a bit.

"Cassandra." She takes another gulp of her drink, glancing to the two at the bar with her, then back to the hooded men briefly.

Ame rubs her forehead, "Bottle, pa." The bartender sets a new bottle of ale on the bar, sighing.

"What's with the hooded congregation? Some kind of political upheaval? Revolutionaries meeting in a tavern? Buncha teen-aged toughs wanting to look all mysterious?"

"None of the above." The bartender grumbles.

"So what is it, then? I've never seen them in here before." Cass glances back to the group again, out of the corner of her eye.

The bartender shrugs, "I don't know. She does." He nods at Ame, who is happilly chugging down a new bottle of ale.

"Does she now?" Cass glances over to Ame.

Ame continues to drink, stopping every few seconds to breathe. The bartender sighs again.

Cassandra looks over to Ame. "So what's the deal then?"

Ame sets her drink down, and belches, mumbling, "They're illegal mages, I think."

"Eh. Can't give to sods 'bout 'em," Nica said swilling her ale. "Sodding mages, and sodding human religion. Just an extortion racket dressed in funny robes."

"Illegal mages? Great...just what I need..." She sighs, taking another gulp of her drink and subtly moving her other hand towards the hilt of her sword.

"They seem harmless. I think the one that just left is off to get staffs for them. Was gonna wait for him to get back before I killed them." Ame tilts her head back and takes another swig.

"Why d'ya want to kill the sodding bastards? What did they do to you, 'sides exist?"

"You want to kill them? You realize you can't do that in here, right?"

"Way I see it, them templar fellows might pay a bit for 'em, and it's to much hassle to capture 'em. Plus I can sell off their staffs and double my money."

"Yeah, but won't you get more if you bring 'em alive? They'd rather kill 'em, themselves. All ritualistic, and sod."

"I'd need help if I wanted to do that."

"That's still causing a fight in the bar....the guards would rush in as soon as they hear it."
